We stayed in Villa Cepik's Alexandria House for two nights but had a look at the other one too. The accommodation is clean and lovely with an amazing outlook through large windows onto the mountains. There is a tv, fridge, a/c and fan. Plenty of horror books but while the titles are in English the contents are in German. I'd suggest taking some good reading material.
The pool is very clean and is the same depth all over. I'm 5'4" and it reached up to my nostrils while standing on tiptoe.
There are a quite a few steps down to roadside but look for the grass alongside the pool - not easily seen- and go that way
The food is absolutely the best and freshest i had in Bali. Also very cheap. I left it to the Balinese lady owner in the end what i would have as she really did know my taste -spicy- and what i would like. She and her husband were extraudinarily helpful to all our needs. I have nothing but good things to say about them.
The other owner in Germany said there is no telephone at Villa Cepik but i found out while staying there the cell phone no and will try to find it before you leave.
It is 16 km to the ocean so you can go exploring beachside or visit Klung Klung, Amplapura or even Tirtagannga. Candi dasa is only a 1 hour drive away.
