A couple of weeks agon, someone posted that there had been an extention given on the registration of sim cards. I also read on the Bali update which is sent out weekly an extension, until I think July, was granted due to the low number of registrations.
It's no big deal to register a sim card. I have read a couple of posts where some people appear to be reluctant to do it and dont understand why. Any sim card purchased in Australia goes through a registration process, and no-one thinks twice about it. [BTW, Holladaze this is not directed at you].
It's about time Indonesia did something proactive about the wasteland of sim cards that must be 'out there'. cheers... :-)
