To any other forum member regarding Air Paradise refund.
My friend purchased her Air Paradise ticket with her Commonwealth bank Mastercard. After hearing that others received a refund on their credit card she applied for a refund for service/goods not provided. She received a refund approximately 10-12 days later. Hooray.
But, unfortunately today she received a letter from Commonwealth Bank stating that they will be taking the money back.... The Cmmwlth Bank is a claim to the Travel Agent stating that they had used the card fraudgently. Which was not the case and the issue was never with the TA but with AP.
My friend tried to explain to the bank that the claim is not with the TA but with AP as AP didnt provide the service.
My question is has any other member had this happen to them? Or does anyone have any advise as to what my friend maybe able to do next? It is so strange that some people have received refunds from banks and others havent.
Sorry for babbling on, I hope someone understands what I am going about. Tried to think of an easier way in explaining all of this.
