I think there is some sort of misconception here. A chargeback is a direct charge to the merchant that processed the credit card transaction. As nobody paid directly to Air Paradise the chargeback is sent to the bank of the merchant ( the Travel Agent or Wholesaler ) and they have the amount summarily deducted from their bank account. The bank does not pay anything, nor does Air Paradise.....and there is no insurance that covers the Travel Agents or Wholesalers against this.
