Sorry but Ive got to bring this subject up I love reading everyones updates on recent trips but I keep reading about all the people who keep bragging how they have haggled for cheaper hotel prices and most times they arnt staying at expensive hotels and they are proud of the fact they got lower prices than originally offered.Well I really cant get my head around why with everything so tuff in bali exspecially hotels why would anyone try to make it harder for the balinese?Look Im guilty of haggling for better prices before but that was back when bali was thriving so come on everyone just be happy to be there and dont try to make things even harder for the balinese whats a few dollars saved - more bintangs more sarongs Im happy to get the prices I get to bali I think it is and always has been one of the cheapest places to visit in the world. Im not rich either I do try to get best prices here in australia but in bali thats another matter.If you dont like the prices they are offering go somewhere else and be happy you get the bargain you want without making life a bit more difficult for the hotel managers and staff to make a living and I can tell you I know plenty of staff and managers who have lost there jobs recently!!!
