heart out with hotels unless you know it is definitely owned by a poor Balinese. (Poor Balinese? Do they actually own hotels?)
I was under the impression that most were owned by airlines or overseas buyers. I don't want an argument with my views as an open discussion is good, if I'm wrong then I will change my ways, but from past experiences I've found hotels will only haggle if they can anyway.
