Don't waste your time in Hong Kong. The weather's unpredictable. The shopping's not as good as it used to be. The people are indifferent.
East Java may be still a little too unpredictable with J.I.'s presence.
Even squeaky-clean Singapore's better than Honkers.
Our best advice:
Malaysia or Thailand!
We luv 'em both. We've now had 3 trips to Malaysia; 4 trips to Thailand. We're off to Bali in 7 weeks' time for 3 bootiful weeks.
But we are at present planning our next trip next April - Singapore to Bangkok by train via Mallaca, KL, Penang and Koh Samui.
