use the real coins. How many times have you seen $1 or $2 coins get that greenish tinge? They can change coins at banks, I've seen people do, or they ask tourists that they know. Over the years I've been asked by several people year after year. The shonky I wont change for, but by far the majority are nice genuine people and I always will. But who cares, I've worn mine for years, and to me anyway they look real, and are a daily reminder of Bali, as are the watches, the wonderful shoes, the house decorations, the clothes etc... Come to think of it, everything really nice I own, has come from Bali!!!!
