Lombok, compared to bali.

Considering going to Lombok around July next year. We've been to Bali previously, but were wondering how different Lombok was; Cost? Beaches?
Also the best places on the island to visit?

hahaha and finally, has anybody stayed at the Intan Village Lombok? if so, any comments on that would be good (value for money, how good the pool area is? rooms etc)
