Will soon be making my first trip to Bali.I have one week and want to make each day count. So many posters here have complained about the agressive hawkers at Kintamani I am wondering if maybe I should skip it? So far the plan is to spend the night of arrival at Jimbaran bay (Keraton hotel) then leave the next day for three nights in Ubud, from there I was planning on heading to Mt. Batur but I am now hesitating. From there a couple of nights in a secluded area on the north coast (Sambirenteng) and the last night at Candi Dasa (Serai hotel). Does this sound like a good itinerary for a first time visitor? I'm looking for beautiful natural sites, calm, a view into authentic Bali, etc. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.
