Kintamani is a must. It is very beautiful and cooler than down in Kuta. The hawkers are not worse than in Tanah Lot or any of the other places you want to see. I bought 2 very good quality T-shirts from a hawker there for $2.50 each (Canadian Dollars), and a wood carving (fairly large owl) for $5.00. I was pleased although the hawkers are generally a real nuisance.
