Bringing packaged food home to OZ?

I will be in Bali in July and wanted to know if I am allowed to bring packaged Balinese food home to Australia with me?
In the past I have bought spices home from Bali but this time I wanted to bring home things like exotic noodles and sauces. Is this possible and is it legal?
