On our last day in Bali we went to Joni's restaurant in Padma street at the Garlic lane intersection. There was a small pond that housed two turtles. There was only one rock for the turtles to perch on and only one could perch there squashed in the corner, the other had to balance on the end with both its feet extended against the wall to balance. We were there for an hour and the second turtle was in this position the whole time.
I explained to the waiter that this could not be comfortable for the second turtle and asked if another rock could be placed in the pond to accommodate both comfortably. The waiter was not in the least interested. If I was there for longer I would have considered placing another rock in the pond, if this was safe for the turtle. Can anybody please advise if they know who to contact to help in this regard. TIA
