Unfortunately so many local people dont care for animals at all. And so many tourists support this sort of behaviour because they dont protest and just accept it. Look at turtle island. Horrible place and still crowded by tourists. When I am in the area the next days I will go to this restaurant for sure and tell them what I think of that and how disgusting I find that. Take photos, put them on fb. They will only learn if it affects their business.
