The one in the VIP line just sat there in the booth and never moved. (Late May 2014) I was in my line with my family for 40 minutes because I was not going to pay $125 AUD for three children and their grand parents. What a rip off for 5 minutes work. Talk about high wages in the mining industry. It is clearly a bribe to someone.
The sooner it is stopped the better. That person could have served a lot of people in the line whilst no VIP's were in the line but he sat there. If they were paid by the number of people they processed (eg contract) they could still get a rest between aircraft.
I know the processing speed will never change because that is unique bali but it is the $25PP rip off that people get upset about. Next time I will wear a Go Pro head camera. Send the footage to Australian TV and see if Indonesia responds like they did to the traffic police. Dare me hooter. Going again in three weeks.
