Lebaran is 28b& 29th July this year. A few days before that people start heading to their home villages. The rich Indonesians on Java & other islands can't handle the domestic chores handled by their pembantus etc so they head for Bali for 2-3 weeks. They take their cars of course. You will notice many number plates starting withA, W,B L,N, P, S,F, T etc which differ from the normal Bali DK plates. The worse time is around 6 to 9pm when they head for the restaurants which provide their hometown food. The roads to the beach are full around sunset.
