Hey guys, I'm not doing this to bad mouth bali and or Indonesia as a holiday destination for everyone, but we just had the worst time in bali. We have been to bali as a couple, even became man and wife in 05..... For my SO and It was as far from a relaxing holiday as we could have immagined. Sickness, bad timing for the season, rained every 2nd day, out toddler who was on his first long trip was so unhappy with the changes he hardly ate, he was sick almost from day 1. We had 1 nice meal the whole time we were there (fortune cooking in sanur is a must eat place if you are over that way
And to top it all off. I got pick pocketed on the last day. I feel as though bali has lost any charm it once had in my wife's and my mind.
The exchange rate was great compared to last time we went but everything has doubled in price. Which is fair enough but disappointing.
It is one destination that we will most likely not go again.
