I have been traveling to Bali for approx. 15 Years and have seen the improvements in Kuta Legian etc in regard to the rubbish management that has taken place, I think that is good for the street vendors and tourists alike, but my last trip in August coming back from Ubud to Legian, I found that the rubbish along the road and into the fields was far worse than I have ever experienced.
Do the locals not care? Or is there no effective rubbish removal process in place?
