Braiding

I have heard reports around the traps that hair braiding can wreck the hair, in some cases resulting in it requiring cutting short back home. I have promised my daughter that she can have hers done but if the aftermath is going to make this not worthwhile (oh, she has a temper!) then I have 14 weeks to talk her out of it!

Any horror stories??? (Gosh, that's just asking for trouble, isn't it!)
