Cost of petrol

Our car/driver deal doesn't cover the cost of petrol. I can understand this as the charge is for a straight 9 hours and we could go to Java in that time. It would be nice to have an idea of what we are likely to have to pay extra. Is there a hidden agenda here that we need to be aware of?
