I apologise for all this questions - I know most of them are probably stupid but we've never been to Bali before so I figure better to ask than to get in trouble lol.
* We can take in 1L of alcohol each on the way in, and 2.25L each on the way out, correct? Is there anything I need to know about Virgin and duty free? (I've read that Jetstar have limitations...)
* The VOA is done after we land and is different to the standard customs form you fill out where you declare things correct?
* Should we take any rupiah with us or just a few US dollars and then get rupiah once in Bali?
* Is the best way to get money just to withdraw from a Commonwealth account at a Commonwealth ATM? Does that give us US/AUD or rupiah?
* How strict are they on minor criminal convictions? (OH was a little stupid when he was younger, definitely nothing along the lines of jail time or anything though)
* How much is an average restaurant meal? And how much are cocktails?
* Should we take insect repellent and sunscreen or just buy some there?
