Got notification today that Air Asia has cancelled our flight leaving next week. As if leaving at 4am wasn't bad enough, the Row 1 booking that I paid money for (hot seat) has also been taken off us and we've been shunted back to row 9.
Spent an hour and a half on the phone to them tonight, got absolutely nowhere, was cut off when trying to transfer me to a team leader, eventually got the team leader and he was absolutely useless. Unable to refund my seat charges any sooner than 60 days, unwilling to provide compensation for the change in flight and removal of our preferred seating option.
Pretty disgusted with Air Asia's attitude in general and definitely has turned me off them, i used to be a big supporter and have flown with them many times. Will definitely think twice next time! So next week, i'll be stuck in row 9, on a flight i didn't want to be on, and i'm expected to be accepting of it, an absolute joke!

AirAsia would like to advise that our flight QZ 8419, scheduled to depart from Perth to Denpasar at 01:25 effective on 07th March 2012 until 31th march 2012, has unfortunately been cancelled and moved to QZ8411.
The new flight number is QZ 8411 departure time is 04:50 and it arrives in Denpasar at 08:30, all in local time.
