That' how you learn- by practicing. You learn from your mistakes and sure you may embarrass yourself but they are the words you'll never forget.
As others said the Balinese ( and other people around the world) appreciate you efforts.

BTW also. I haven't embarrassed myself with my Indonesian for a while. Maybe I'm getting bett or maybe I'm not a adventurous as I should be.
