I should practice more. Every time I get back I say I'm going to sturdy but then life gets in the way. I should be fluent by now.
Also the above poster insinuated we speak Indonesian to impress the locals. I don't know anyone that does it for that reason. I actualy studied it by correspondence but I know most people are just happy to have a go. I learn at least basic greetings in every country I visit. I think it's respectful. Some tourists just expect everyone to speak English even in a non speaking country. Very self centered of them.
