I posted a query about this issue many years ago and wondered if anybody since then had any positive experiences to share.
We go to Bali every year and have done for about 15 years.
We don't stay in one area and move a round a bit each trip. But I have often wondered if there is any actual merit in time share, leaving aside the rather pushy sales techniques.
I don't find the accommodation costs unreasonable and enjoy the supplied breakfats rather than making our own.
But here's the questions: Would we have been financially better off with a time share deal? Would the rental to other parties have given us an income to help offset our Bali costs?
we all know about the lucky scratch and wins and the street surveys, but presumably they wouldn't keep going unless they got people to sign up. And have those who signed been happy with their decision?
