Have to post about my experience with trying the durian fruit, i had been told about it by jack the driver, he said it smells bad but tastes like heaven. Well being a little piggie I thought this has to be something to try. So I was eager to buy some the next time I saw a stand.
Well, I was in tanah lot walking to the car and bought one for 30,000. I eagerly opened it up and smelled the horrific aroma emanating from this particular fruit. I pinched some if it's slimy flesh between my fingers and holding my breath I put the fruit in my mouth. OMG it was dreadful, definateky not a fan of this and I reeked of the stench all the way back to kuta.
We stopped at carrefour, and I tried the durian ice-cream thinking I may have Ben too harsh a judge, no it was again dreadful.
I have cleaned my teeth and gargled with listen to no avail, may have to eat a whole onion or garlic to remove the taste from my mouth.
