age at "Bambooshoots Bali" cooking school in Sanur when we did it and she had a ball and was totally included with all the chopping, preparing and cooking. It's very informal and everyone gets in together to do as much or as little as they like. I also found it quite inexpensive compared to some.
Up front I should say that I know the ladies who run it, one quite well the other a little. They are lovely ladies and made the whole half day really good. Having said that I met some ladies accidentally in a restaurant a couple of months ago and they did not know the people running it and did not know that I knew them but they had such a good time that they wanted to tell us all about it.
My friend went yesterday with her whole family and they had a ball too. She of course knows me, but not the ladies who run the cooking school nor (for those who like to knock others on this forum) any of their sisters and their cousins and their aunts (Gilbert and Sullivan)
By the time they left they would have had a nodding acquaintance with a husband and a cousin and brother but I don't think that coloured her opinion on the day!
You may google bambooshootsbali if you like. As dear old Molly would say, if he had been, "Do yourself a favour".
