Left Melb/Darwin/Bali on the 1/12/11, no problems no delays and all went well. Arrived in Bali around 9.45pm to the smell of the Bali aroma. Our first 4 nights were at the Barong. This hotel was meant to be renovated but I'm not quite sure what they did, as it still looked the same when I stayed there a couple of years ago. A few schoolies but you didn't see them until happy hour around 3.00pm. They stayed for about an hour and you didn't hear them until about 2.00am when they came back from the night clubs. Thank god for the ear plugs. We did the Bali Dolphins and I must say this should on your must to do list. We booked through their website a few months before we arrived in Bali, after a few hiccups with the booking all was fine. We played with the dolphins for about 1hr, it was amazing. We also did ATV through Paddy Adventure. I have done ATV through Bali Adventures and I think this company is better due to more challenging tracks. Next four nights we stayed at Casa Padma in the deluxe room, this was a lovely hotel, lovely staff. Resturants we ate at were, Wayan and Friends, Mozerrala, Kuta Steakhouse, Indo National, Warong Tropical.
