My husband flew from Perth to Bali in June on Strategic & was charged $90 in CASH only (a cc wasn't acceptable) for his boards even though his total weight was 20ks. Despite the info on their site. This was for full service.
On his return he got in touch with the manager of Strategic here & the $90 was refunded in due course (took some hassling, though).
BUT on Oct 15 he again flew Strategic Perth to Bali (full service) & they adamantly wanted $100 this time - same luggage weight. Sensibly, he had printed out the correspondence with the Strategic manager & eventually they gave in.
Maybe it was a scam unique to Perth check-in staff but be wary.
