Vancancies or NOT confused !!

Just got a lovely tax return and thought I might splurge on a week in paradise in the school hols... yes I know its only next week and airfares are high..... but thats life sometimes spontaneous good things come at a price.
My problem is I have emailed 2 of my favourite resorts for vacancies and of course they say they are full BUT when I go on wotif and zuji they show both these hotels as available to book. Please someone advise me... would I be bumped once I get there if I took these bookings online I wonder or are they legit ???
