Hoping someone can help. I applied for a Social Cultural Visa as I am spending nearly 14 weeks in Legian from mid June. I received my visa back today and it is only for 60 days. I have phoned and been informed that I have to extend it in Dempasar before the 60 days is up and we have to take our sponsor with us. Does this sound right? I thought they were issuing me with a visa that lasted 6 months but have been informed that we can renew 4 times.
As the consulates have a public holiday on Tuesday and most staff are taking Monday off as well I can no longer contact anyone at both Melbourne and Sydney (they have finished early for the day) for assurance that all is fine. Did anyone else have to take their sponsor out of work to take them to Dempasar?
