Memorial to girlfriend

Hi, Can anyone tell me if and what the Balinese people do on the anniversary of the death of a loved one. I will be in bali soon and it is the 1 year anniversary since my best friend died and would like to do some sort of simple ceremony on the day. Any help would be appreceiated.
