act as a visa?? So I would have thought that meant no VOA. I'll be checking with Consulate in Perth, but my understanding is the permanent residency will be a visa alowing multiple entries. Whichever way I reckon you would wanna act quick if you intend getting residency as laws can change @ anytime. My freind just missed out on getting there son dual citizenship as they changed the law recently. They had already sent thru paperwork but wasn't processed in time.
