Good morning everyone,

My body has broken, and its leaking! I hate being sick, and hubby's head cold has taken hold and turned into a rampaging monster making me drip and drool, sniffle and cough. That being said, as soon as I get some cold and flu tabs into me I'll be fine. :)

Yesterday was once again, sunny and hot. Though it did get very overcast with the definite threat of rain at about 3pm. Nothing eventuated from it here however.

It was a very slow day... I crawled out of bed moaning and groaning, in the search for heaps of sympathy and condolences as I sniffled my way through the Villa. After all, I have a head cold! That means death is near, and I require my nearest and dearest to hover around me weeping, wailing, and telling me how wonderful I am and how much they will miss me when I am gone.

Instead they went to breakfast.

Devastation!

Actually, I followed along, sniffling loudly, coughing with meaning, and generally just making sure they knew that I was "not well" and that they needed to "take care of me".

Breakfast at Zanzibars again. Banana Pancakes and the American Breakfast all round.

I like tomato sauce... so when the red sauce bottle was placed in front of me, I gave a little yippee, and squeezed it all over breakfast. One bite... ooops! Not tomato sauce, that was chilli!!

Who puts chilli sauce in a red tomato sauce bottle?

Anyway, breakfast was saved. Hubby leapt on all chilli covered food, devouring it. And chilli sauce was scraped from those bits he missed.

I made sure to mention to everyone that I wasn't hungry anyway, because I "was sick" and I "needed to be taken care of".

They just smiled and went back to eating.

After breakfast we shuffled back home, and hubby plus Master 14 headed into Kuta and stopped at Big Boys Toys. Apparently they needed to stock up on spare parts for their R/C Helicopters.

I knew it! I knew I'd end up with a suitcase full of bits... well... actually, in all honesty they came back with a pencil case sized parcel. If thats all they need, I can live with it. :)

I did have to duck into Rezeky Tailor to pick up part of my order. Mum collected three tops she had ordered, and I had 4 rather fiddly tops to collect. Well, I am very very impressed! The stitching is superb, the tops have been cut and sewn to a very high standard, and it is obvious that real care was put into matching my fiddly fabric patterns, and making the difficult colour patterns in the various materials work.

They also did a top job of joining two different types of fabric, and the seams have not pulled, nor has the fabric been stretched. Really very very good work, and done two days ahead of schedule as well!

I have to return a couple of times more for hubbys business shirts, and Father-in-laws much loved polo shirts, and will report on how those turn out. Rather concerned about the polo shirts btw.

The rest of the day was spent lazing around, sleeping, reading and organising our last two days in Legian.

We had wanted to spend our last evening at Ultimo, unfortunately they are fully booked, and we are now trying to decide on another restaurant for this evening. Any suggestions welcome!

At 5:30 Nyoman collected us, drove us past Garlic Lane where mum had seen some shorts for hubby two days prior. Well... do you think she could recall the shop she had seen them in?

No.. we shuffled up... we shuffled down. Stuck our heads into a few stores, and eventually stopped and let one of the shop ladies run around finding the shorts for us. She got a tidy profit, and we got shorts and a vague sense of failure.

About 130k per pair of Large 'nice shorts' not boardies.

Just down Jl Melasti is the shop I bought my original giant wooden carved wall panel from. This is the giant panel that I am now trying to figure out how to transport.. and I decided the easiest way to get it home would be to have ANOTHER giant wooden carved wall panel. Obviously having two will make it easier to get home! :P

They had one matching panel in stock... but it had borer holes, so I refused it, and they have promised to have another (without holes) ready for me tonight. To be honest, I like these panels so much, that I'll be happy to pay for treatment of the wood if required when we reach Australia.

Hubby also took the opportunity to organise a sign to hang from his bar, which will be ready this evening as well.

So with orders placed we rushed back to Nyoman's van and drove around the block to land at Mozzarella's for dinner. Great choice again. They greeted us warmly, remembered us and once again entertained Master 2 throughout the evening.

Dinner was sublime... feeling rather seedy, I ordered the broccoli soup, and then garlic butter prawns. The broccoli soup was absolutely amazingly good... a bit salty, but I could feel the vitamins pumping into my veins. The garlic prawns were also to die for. The portions aren't huge, but my goodness... there was enough garlic to knock this cold into next week! Who knew eating yummy food could be a cold remedy? haha

Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals, including Seafood Chowder, Seafood Wontons, Caesar Salad, Mixed Sate, Duck Breast, Chicken Cordon Bleu, Chicken Button Mushroom pasta, and Salmon Steak. The cocktails (buy one get one free) were also a hit with our party, and many were consumed.

Of course... me being "very sick" and needing everyone to "take care of me", I refrained from alcohol, and instead sniffled my way through lime juice and water.

To be honest, I'd started the evening feeling okay... but as normally happens, the later it got, the worse I felt. So after everyone finished, and ordered desserts, and consumed their creme brulee's and Tiramasu, we paid the 1.6 mililion bill and headed home.

Once again I attempted to convince family members that I was "very sick" and needed them to "take care of me". Instead they dealt me into a game of canasta, and spent the night ignoring my snuffles, leaking and general air of miserableness.

Where is the love I ask you? hahaha.

They did give me a box of tissues... and didn't complain when my sleepy heavy head hit the table and dislodged the deck of cards.

I suppose that counts for something... right? :)

P.S. The weather is... actually a bit overcast. It isn't raining, but I can't see the sun at the moment (from my deathbed!), and there are no patches of blue to be seen.

Have a great day everyone!

For me... packing up ready to move to the Novotel Benoa tomorrow! eek!!!
