The panels might have grown a little in the re-telling. They are about 1.5 metres long, but only 20cm wide.
In answer to your query, I paid 300k each for them. As they are wood, I would assume they would be weather proof... for a while. Eventually I'd expect them to rot etc, as with most wooden products. I doubt they have been treated or anything.
