I had quite a bit of trouble finding anything suitable for Father In Laws polo shirts, and the language barrier can be a bit of an issue if you are trying to find something specific.
Honestly, if you know what fabric you want, I would seriously consider trying to buy it in Australia first. At least then you know the quality of the material before you get your pants done.
