why?
* money was stolen from a room by cleaning staff out of a locked suitcase
* one cleaner was asking newbies for money to clean their room "better" and trying to charge them for the free water that is in the room.
* staff not as welcoming and friendly as most other hotels
* no staff around the pool to offer drinks or food unless you are actually at the bar
there seems to be plenty of staff hanging around reception but thats it!
I've stayed in many hotels and this one lacks the genuine Bali happy welcoming staff and you cant trust the cleaners to not be going through your belongings and stealing out of your room so I would definitely not be recommending the MELASTI BEACH RESORT LEGIAN to anyone!Yes they have safes but as soon as you get locked out of your safe or it is playing up they can open it in a second right there in front of you.PFFFTT , what a joke :/
There are hundreds of other hotels that offer the safety security and genuine Bali hospitality to choose from.I like to know that I can trust the staff so in my opinion steer well clear of the MBR unless you intend on carrying all your valuables and money on you!
