I used this method when I paid for my land. With national bank the fee was $30. The only problem was the money was converted to rupiah at a rate of 8,200rp and that was in February this year when the rate in Indonesia was around 8,890. To get the better rate use an Internet transfer but it does depend on the receivers bank as some of the smaller ones don't deal in International funds.
