On a recent trip to Vietnam four of us were walking down the main beach boulevard in Nha Trang when two people on a motor bike pulled up twenty metres in front of us.
Naturally I was the last of the group and had a small back back just hanging on my left shoulder (road side).
The pillion passenger had hopped off the bike and was leaning against a wall and as I drew level with the bike on one side of me and the pillion passenger( who had a helmet and face mask covering the nose and mouth) on the other, the pillion passenger approached me from the back, rubbed his hand on my back and asked in a "pretend female" voice if I would like a massage.
I quickly swung my back pack off my should to the front of me and told him to POQ.
He then jumped straight on the back of the waiting bike and beat a hasty retreat.
Although I would like to think that I still appeal to some one, it was obviously an attempt to snatch my back pack.
After quickly gathering my composure I also checked my kidneys and thank god they were still there, I certainly needed them later in the day.
