Bali Dogs don't read if u don't like dog

I would like to thank all the tourists I have met recently that have shown their love of the dogs here in Bali, I have been living in Bali for 3.5 yrs and spend all my time looking after the beach and street dogs in Kuta and Tuban I would like to thank Kerry & Gary, Judy and Ben, Simon and Tamika, Wayne and Karen and many many more tourists that have donated money that has enabled me to continue looking after these wonderful animals. Dogs are from puppies only looking for some love and understanding and are very loyal to those who show them respect. I understand that many people do not trust the dogs here because of the rabies outbreak but I would like to assure people that most of the dogs here in Bali are no different from the dogs in Australia and once vaccinated as they all are on the beach in Kuta are no more a threat than too many bintang. I accept that I will get many adverse replies to this post but tidak apa2 (no problem) because I know that the majority of people I meet admire what myself and my friends do here with these dogs. All I can say is please if you encounter a dog on the beach or in the street that is at all scared or timid just walk away and you will have no problem, the minute you show aggression towards these dogs they will go into protection mode as you yourself would if being threatened. They are beautiful animals and only want to be treated with respect. Again I thank all the caring people that understand what we are trying to do here in Bali with these dogs.
