Air Asia....cancellation/transfrer ???

Hi guys
I have a problem.....
Mother in law with dementia booked to go with us for 3 weeks in March on Air Asia.
Ticket bought in August was a promotional cheapie @ $324

Disease getting worse...now cannot come with us

2 scenarios
cancel ticket ?????? would we get a refund or credit
transfer ticket to her other daughter(who can only come for 1 week)

What do you think
Any info would be good
