Hello all, I've had a look thru the archives and found mixed reports so asking for advice. Took mum to Carrefour last night and did not really pay much attention to what she was purchasing, was just happy she was off doing her own thing and I could have some peace and quiet (yes, she's back in town for 2 weeks).

Anyway, we got home only to find she had purchased many small musical instruments and I had to break the news to her that they may not be allowed into Australia.

Well, did I say the wrong thing!!

She has a wooden drum, something made of bamboo and a thingy made of half a coconut shell, god knows what the names of them are, they are Balinese Gamelon instruments, but I presume you only need to know the materials.

My question is, will they get through Australian customs?

Thanks in advance.
