sounds like it is to much an effortand expense just for 3 days, may have to fly in kl first next time on our way over to bali. It was just that i saw cheap tickets on air asia and thought it would be good to check kl out. Shame about all these visas these days, wish it was the old days. we never pay the local fiscal tax when we leave bali, just fill in the form and pay normal tourist departure tax. Just wasnt sure what locals pay if they go to different countries and there main place of residence was Australia. Thanks for your help jen
