We had indonesian friends a few years ago that had an exemption because they were living here and i believe they could make 3 or 4 trips back to indonesia per year,the whole family,but the indonesian
embassy/consulate would be the ones to ask for definative information.

It is trips out of indonesia that count, seeing as it is indonesian tax so dont see that where you are going to would make a difference if you have the exemption.

Indonesian citizens,anyone, can now apply for a tax number,you will be given a card,that also means you dont pay the fiscal when leaving providing you have earnings in indonesia less than a certain figure.

Yes voa will have to be paid EACH time you enter as it expires as soon as you leave,it may be possible to just get the $10 one though depending on how long you will be in indonesia for each time.
