i am and i live here...the word on the street over here is, that it is a spin doctoring process by the government, simply so they can clean up the dogs on the street, which they are doing....via strychnine, mind you....sooo cruel.
Dont beleive everything you read, even if it is the Jakarta Post.
My advice if youre scared of the whole dog thing, go to Gili Trawangan, where there are NO dogs, only cats!!!!
