in reply to KazAllen-
Your room quote of $65AUD = $43USD which is half of what they quoted me for June stay of 5 nights! The fact that we need two rooms makes this a very big difference in price, one that I don't feel very good about! The only room quoted was the bungalow which I thought from reading were closer to the beachfront and newly refurbished. I did reply and ask for the best price and was not given any discount.

Could someone please tell me more about the differences in the bungalow vs standard rooms at Besakih so that perhaps we can save some money. We need 2 rooms for our family including 2 children so access between or next door is important.

If the room for the bungalow is not really beachfront and I am having to pay $170 for the 2 rooms, might I be getting more for my money somewhere else (Gryia?) or save a bundle of money and stay at Stana Puri Gopa and walk a minute to the beach.

Help, I'm getting more confused all the time. If Besakih were to give a good price this would be so much easier!
