we dealt with Johny by email direct and last September were quoted $70AUD per night and by asking for best price we got it for $65AUD per night for friends who were travelling with us and only staying for 2 nights (this was all inclusive) and in a bungalow (230). We booked outs with Qantas Holidays as they have a stay 7 pay 5 deal incl. brekky.
I just checked on the Qantas website and there are two prices (for May) which I believe one is for the actual hotel rooms, two storey and interconnecting rooms which are a bit bigger than the bungalows and the dearer price is for the bungalows (or so I have been told) which are being re-furbished. Prices were $580.00 per room for the 7 nights inc. brekky and $812 for 7 nights inc. brekky.
I have stayed in the bungalows twice recently (229) and I think in future I would opt for the hotel section, which is in the same area and as I said the rooms are a bit bigger.
Besakih is a lovely hotel in a great area and the staff are terrific.
Good Luck and enjoy yourselves. Karen
