What's Tuban like?

Dumb question, I guess, but how would you describe this area? I've never been south of Matahari, so I've got no idea and I'm considering staying there for two weeks in August. Is it as busy as Kuta? Does it have lots of great places to eat? Is it more like Legian?

We usually stay in Sanur and like the quiet pace there, but I'm finding it hard to get accommodation there. If we are "Snore types", are we likely to find Tuban too full on?
