We stay at the Bali Rani and I love the area. It is very busy on a sat and sun. But you don't here the noise of the traffic once you are in your hotel. You have Centro very close depending in which hotel you are staying at which is nice to have a browse through and you also have some great eatery close by. We used to stay at the Ramayana but I'll have to say I like it here just as much. Hope this answers your question.
