I've been taking my daughter over to Bali since she was 7, she is now 13. The first trip, we took lots of adrenelain and syringes with us (had a letter from our doctor, which we carried with us always, because of the syringes) I was also worried, majority of place do not use peanut oil, too expensive, state your childs allergy (although sometimes they don't understand) Tidak Cecang (pronounced Ke'chung)(No Peanuts) may help. Only once did we have a minor problem, with peanuts on an icecream, they kindly wiped them off.....no need to say...hubby ended up with the icecream. I've never had to use the adrenelain, but I would still take the epi-pen, just as a precaution. Theres lots of food options, so I don't think you will have a problem
